| The Foulkes and Sons Boatyard is a family owned and
run boatyard situated on the very picturesque river Hamble in Hampshire.
The boatyard was established over 60 years ago by our granddad who
lived and worked at the boatyard. |
| Now three generations later it is managed by Antony, Bill and Peter
Foulkes. In 1970 a World War II concrete supply barge was floated
into a permanent mud berth at Foulkes and Sons Boatyard. There it
was converted into a fully stocked chandlery shop hence the name
The Chandlery Barge.

| The Chandlery Barge sells new, secondhand and redundant chandlery. The barge is a great place to find discontinued lines or those hard to find classic fittings. The Chandlery Barge has many items that are sought after by garden designers or those looking to theme a pub, shop or restaurant with a marine feel.

| Many customers love to come and have a good look round the Barge and make use of the friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff. We have several trained boat builders and a marine electronics engineer as part of our staff and can advise on almost all aspects of marine restoration, building and chandlery sales.

If you like boat jumbles then you've found the right place to come and shop as every day is like visiting a boat jumble! There is a wealth of experience and knowledge at Foulkes and Sons that has been passed down through the generations.
In addition to this there is a great sense of fun and humour, which gives the boatyard its great atmosphere and its fair share of practical jokes!
